The principals of the Eastern Caribbean Institute are:

S. B. JONES-HENDRICKSON, PhD., a regional consultant and Professor of Economics for over 38 years in the Caribbean, Trained in the Caribbean, the USA and the UK, Jones-Hendrickson is a former Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis to CARICOM, the OECS and the ACS. He continues to write and publish in the area of Economics as well as in the area of creative works: novels, poetry and short stories. He is President of the Eastern Caribbean Copyright Licensing Association (ECCLA), an intellectual property rights association headquartered in St. Lucia.

CORA L. E. CHRISTIAN, MD, MPH, a distinguished Virgin Islands physician for over 40 years, past Board member of AARP, past President of the Caribbean Studies Association and founder and Medical Director of the Virgin Islands Medical Institute for over 30 years. Dr. Christian has made some indelible marks in Family Medicine as well as industrial medicine in the Virgin Islands in her capacity as Medical Director, for over 30 years and as Medical Director or Chief Medical Consultant at Hovic now Hovensa, LLC. for over 20 years.

NESHA R. CHRISTIAN-HENDRICKSON, Esq. is the main contact person for ECI; Vice-President for the Young Professionals Network of St. Croix, an affilate of the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce. She is an attorney by profession and has been an active member of the Virgin Islands Bar since 2008.

MARCUS B. CHRISTIAN-HENDRICKSON, BSc in Biology; a specialist in Biology, Sports, and an employee in one of the leading banks in the US Virgin Islands.
